Madhu Bairy

Born on 19th June, 1985, I am a resident of Bangalore and a native of Kundapur. A self-confessed book worm, I always found any activity that involved reading and writing interesting apart from my academics. Reading is something that came quite naturally since my schooling days and that continued to grow over the years.
Writing to me is not a hobby, but something that I pursue passionately. A graduate in Textile Technology and a designer by profession, I find writing as an effective medium to convey my thoughts and opinions on anything and everything.

Swathi Shenoy

For Swathi, writing is a way to pen down her thoughts or anything that stumbles upon her mind. It's a place where her thoughts get wings!

Heta Gala

Describing myself - I can just say I love myself. I am two extremes (Scorpio girl). If a person is close to me, I will love them a lot and will do everything I can and if someone is not good to me then I will just say "Beware of me" haha. I am just what I am. No one can change me or make me do things according to their way. I love reading novels and can spend the whole day reading. I love writing too and writing a diary is a way for me to contact God and pour my heart out.

Rituparna Ghosh

Rituparna is a professional storyteller and Founder of Your Story Bag – a storytelling venture that helps children, individuals and corporates harness the power of stories. For Rituparna, storytelling went from being a professional hazard to a parenting hazard and back! Always sniffing for a good story to tell, Rituparna feels that her past life as a journalist and television producer taught her the power of good stories. In her current avatar as a writer, editor and professional storyteller, she has discovered why it is important to tell a story! A story lover to the bone, Rituparna believes that everyone needs storytelling skills, to make sense of the world, and give shape to their own ideas! There is a child in each one of us and this is why she enjoys telling stories to children, adults and corporates alike. She dreams of a world where everyone connects over a story. And really, having re-discovered the child in herself, she has deeply avowed never to grow up again!

I am the author of children's book series. The Tania series are simple plausible experiences of a preschool girl. While the plots are fairly realistic, the stories are made engaging mainly through dialogue. Tania is a curious, expressive and thoughtful little girl. Through her eyes the simplest of experiences are new, exciting and filled with wonder. It is through her eyes that every day experiences become amazing and yet easy to relate to. I also write a picture book series called The Misadventures Of Little Toast. These are picture books about the misadventures, mischief and mayhem of a little baby girl.
Prior to becoming and author/SAHM I was a physicist with a Ph.D in cold atom physics.

I love reading, blogging about books, movies, TV shows, music, tennis and cricket. Sometimes the learning bug bites me and I enroll myself into courses and spend most of my time in them. In recent times I studied law, the Talmud, Jewish / Israeli history and expanded my horizons.
