Wish [POEM]

Poems about Wish
Written by Mukta Chhabra

We all wish, and oftentimes these wishes stay hidden in our hearts. The reasons are many – we’re too embarrassed to divulge them, there is no one to hear them, or simply because these is no time to talk about them. But what if we did not have these reasons? What would we then tell about our wishes?

Mukta shares her wishes.

What do I wish? When do I wish?

For whom should I wish?

For Me, for my dear ones

For you, for my near ones

Or Not so near ones.

For whom should I wish?

A dying animal or a hungry human

A dying Tree or a drying earth

A Dead one or a living being

What do I wish? When do I wish?

I wish when I wake up

I wish when I sleep

I wish when I breathe

I wish when I see and when I don’t want to see

What do I wish? When do I wish?

A Happy life and a peaceful death

Is all I wish. Is all I WISH!!

For all, For everyone

The near ones and not so near ones too

The one dying and all living

A Happy life and a peaceful death

Is all I wish. Is all I WISH!!
