Confess I Do [POEM]

writers block poems about writing
Written by Kala Ravi

‘Fess Up, they tell me!

Do I confess to,

The Murder of ‘The Blushing Bride’,

The Buried Corpses of ‘The Tiresome Three’,

The Slashed Tatters of ‘The Village Tales’,

The Sorry Remains of ‘Pride & Vanity’,

Or the Incinerated Ashes of  ‘The Alien with A Billion’?

Passion, Frustration, Angst, Listlessness driven crimes,

Inadequacies o’ mine drove to death so many.

Wonderful tales, that begged to be told,

Heartlessly nipped in their infancy,

Relegated to eternal obscurity.

Ghosts of these creations o’ mine,

Haunt me still, wailing their tale of woe,

Of tales untold, of memories unsung,

Confess I do, I do feel their pain,

Confess I do, their pain in me echoes,

A pain that is, As much as mine!
